Get picked up for free in the funky bungy bus and head out to the venue where the ultimate test on nerve awaits. Capture your leap on DVD or with a set of first class digital photo’s, all available to purchase on the day of your jump. Tandem skydiving is the ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime thrill, and there’s no better place to do it than along the spectacular east coast of Australia. There are 4 awesome drop zone locations to choose from (see below), and for the real adrenalin junky, there are upgrades available up to Australia’s highest tandem skydive, upgrade to a massive 14,000ft jump. You’ll be picked up from your local accommodation and taken to the skydive centre for some brief safety training and instruction from a highly experienced professional skydive instructor. Then, there’s a little paper work to complete before it’s up and away in a state-of-the-art tandem skydive aircraft. Once you reach your jump height it’s all go go go as you hit 220kph straight down for upto 60 seconds of freefall… Then soar like a bird under canopy while you take in the spectacular views which are unique to this beautiful part of the world. The Barron River Tour is North Queensland’s most exciting half day tour. Feel the rush of white water rafting within the awesome wilderness of Australia’s tropical rainforests. Great for people with limited time or can be combined with other adventure activities to maximise your day. Begin your day with a pickup from your Cairns accommodation. You will meet your Trip Leader onboard and be transferred just North-West of Cairns to Lake Placid, where the fun & adventure begins! Continue up the Barron Gorge whilst your guides explain the safety procedures. Your safety equipment will be waiting for you upon arrival at Barron Gorge Power Station – the put-in for your rafting adventure. Commence rafting with your personal guide and negotiate grade 3 rapids such as Cheese Churn, Hell’s Gate and Rooster Tail. Once back at Lake Placid, enjoy a swim, pack up your raft and change into dry clothes, then enjoy tea and coffee before transferring back to your accommodation.
